Internship in GIS cooperation

I was accepted as an intern at Inc. Supergeo with compensation provided in autumn 2018.

Exchange student to Tokyo and Osaka, Japan

I was an exchange student in Japan, attending Tokyo Gakugei University from 2019 to 2020 and Kansai University from 2022 to 2023, as part of my studies at National Taiwan University.

Master Thesis Award

I completed my master's thesis and won a thesis competition award from the Taiwan-Japan Cultural and Economic Association (TJCEA).

Multi-Language Proficiency

I am a native speaker of Mandarin and Taiwanese. I am also fluent in English and Japanese. In English, I passed the GEPT High-Medium level exam, scored 98 on the TOEFL, and 895 on the TOEIC. In Japanese, I passed the JLPT N1 test.

2021 R Shiny App

This work use R langauge with shiny package to conduct a user-control shiny App. User can decide how to split data for visualization.

2021 Network Analysis

This project use Taipei roads as edges and the intersection of roads as nodes to conduct a network anlaysis for the shortest route for the given two nodes.

2022 Volcano and City Buffer Analysis

In this project, I perform a comprehensive spatial analysis to evaluate the potential threats posed by volcanic activity to global urban centers. Utilizing Python, I begin by mapping the geographical distribution of cities and volcanoes. I then calculate the spherical distances between these points to accurately measure their proximity on Earth's surface.

2016 Campus Bicycle Parking Security Map

This project aimed to identify which bicycle parking spots are currently under surveillance. Designating these spots as safe parking areas could be beneficial. This information would also help the General Affairs Office decide where additional surveillance cameras might be needed.
